01 / The opportunity

The opportunity in seasonal services.

Brian Gardens provides landscaping and outdoor property services. Alongside new projects, its holiday work, spring spruce-ups, and maintenance give customers reasons to return throughout the year.

The goal was to grow overall sales while increasing demand for seasonal services and maintenance.

Bennu handled the website build, developed the marketing plan, and managed the work that followed.

02 / What we delivered

What we handled.

The engagement covered the website and the ongoing marketing needed to promote the business and its services.

A new website for the business

We built the website to support the business’s marketing. The archived site shows service descriptions, project photography, local information, and ways to make an inquiry.

A marketing plan tied to sales

We developed the marketing plan around overall sales growth and increased demand for seasonal and maintenance services.

Ongoing marketing management

We managed the plan after the website launch, continuing to promote the services Brian Gardens wanted to grow.

Seasonal promotion and maintenance upsells

We promoted holiday services and spring spruce-ups, and helped sell maintenance services to customers who needed ongoing care.

03 / The service strategy

Three areas of focus.

The plan focused on seasonal work and opportunities to continue serving existing customers.

Seasonal opportunity

Holiday services

Promote outdoor services to customers preparing their properties for the holidays.

Seasonal opportunity

Spring spruce-ups

Promote seasonal property work as customers prepared their outdoor spaces for spring.

Ongoing opportunity

Maintenance upsells

Offer ongoing maintenance to customers who needed help caring for their properties after an initial job.

Seasonal work and maintenance became a larger part of the marketing plan.

04 / The results

The reported sales results.

From a late-2018 baseline to the end of 2019, overall sales increased 40%, while seasonal and maintenance service sales increased 60%. These results reflect the combined website and managed marketing engagement.

Those higher sales levels were maintained until the management change around Q3 2024. The percentages refer to the initial growth period, not an additional increase each year.
